NOTE: Users with CollaborateNow! installed on the same server as their MailNow! should not update to this version using AutoUpdate as described below. Please contact support@internetnow.com.my for further assistance.
1. Make sure you are already using MailNow! 4
2. Run your Autoupdate program (commonly located under C:\Program Files\InternetNow!\MailNow!\autoupdate.exe). Make sure its version 2.1.1
If its not version 2.1.1, please update your AutoUpdate following the steps here.
3. Click on the "Download Patch" button (you might be warned that you already have the same version running, just proceed). Once the patch has been downloaded, the "Update" button will be enabled. Click the "Update" button.
4. Once the software has been updated, please confirm that the About box shows that its version 4.501. You may check this by right-clicking on the MailNow! icon on the system tray and the choose About as shown below:
5. Remove the lines you added to autoupdate.ini in step 2.
Q: I have followed the steps described under "How to update your MailNow! to this version" but the AutoUpdate is not downloading the new version of MailNow!
A: Edit your autoupdate.ini file (commonly located under C:\Program Files\InternetNow!\MailNow!\autoupdate.ini). Make sure that the following lines (i.e. those start with [URL], PatchURL, and VersionURL) DO NOT exist:

PatchURL=www.internetnow.com.my/download/mailnowupdate/v35/mailnowxxx.zip
VersionURL=www.internetnow.com.my/download/mailnowupdate/v35/updatexxx.ini
These lines could have possibly been manually added in the past to instruct the AutoUpdate to download a specific version of MailNow! (instead of the latest one).
